Fund the Gap

In 2021 Mosaic in Action has received more than $183,000 in project grants for Hurricane Harvey and Winter Storm Uri recovery efforts– which is AMAZING. With this money, we have repaired dozens of homes throughout the county. With this funding, we have truly made a significant impact on our clients' lives.

You might be asking yourself, "$183,000 is a lot of money... Why do you need more?" Simply put, that money doesn't pay the rent. Or the staff. Or the insurance or any of the behind-the-scenes work our team puts into making Mosaic in Action what it is. Designated project funds like these are for direct client assistance, not for overhead.

Without funding to pay for necessary overhead components like staffing, our project funds will become unusable for those in need. Now you might be thinking, "If you've found project grants, can't you find administration grants?" and to that, we say, it's not that easy. This type of grant is hard to find and even more difficult to obtain due to fierce competition for this funding, but we're not giving up.

With the help of our dedicated patrons, community, and friends, we believe that we can fund the gap and continue to serve Brazoria County. It is now–on this global day of generosity– that we ask you to consider giving to our Administration Fund so that we may continue our work.
